A Jubilee Event: Heather & Patrick’s Classic Spring Wedding in Milford, CT

Sweet doesn’t even begin to detail the elegant fete of Heather and Patrick! It was a day full of breathtaking sights – the details, the colors…the couple!!! They are an incredibly infectious couple with so much love for each other, despite the distance that was once between them. Heather, the fun, charming Southern girl was living in North Carolina while Patrick was at Yale in New Haven.

The pineapple, a Southern note that stood for hospitality, became the inspiration for their wedding. Guests, who came from all over, were welcomed by this motif that appeared on their stationary, dinner tables, and gorgeous calligraphed escort cards.?Needless to say, their bridal party and family were gorgeous people and were so excited and ready for this wedding. From the moment the day started, everyone knew they were in no short supply of surprises and treats that night!

Heather and Patrick were married at St. Mary’s Church in New Haven on the Yale Campus where Patrick attended. The amethyst, gold, and candle lit palette was swoon worthy and complimented by the Southern inspired creations by Blush Floral Design, which featured arrangements of plush purple Lilacs, Parrot Tulips, and other seasonal blooms. We fell in love! And what would this all look like without the photo mastermind, Carla Ten Eyck behind everything?!

A constant presence throughout the night was Heather’s desire to include something special for a friend or family member, a true nod to the person she is! Her dad had always joked when she was a child, saying that when she got married, her guests would be fed nothing but “moon pies and RC Cola.” Little did Dad know how right he really was as Heather had these especially for him. It was incredible to see how Heather and Patrick’s wedding was just as much about them as it was the rest of their guests in attendance – everyone was recognized, thanked, and celebrated just as much as the next!

Heather and Patrick – THANK YOU so much for allowing us to be a part of that warmth, excitement, and your infectiously sweet personalities! We have missed you and look forward to the next milestone we will be able to celebrate with you! A big thank you to our amazing A Team that were also a part of this momentous day! XO
