Boy, it is cold and windy outside today. We’re working on an amazing winter themed wedding photoshoot for you which I can’t wait to share. In light of the recently snowy situation here in Connecticut I thought it would be the perfect time to share some winter inspiration! Grab some hot cocoa and a chunky throw…

Loving this Evergreen, Silver and Citron color story / inspiration board from Flights of Fancy.

Style Me Pretty recently featured this amazing wedding in Beaver Creek, Colorado. Also totally loving this winter inspired engagement shoot.

Our friend Nina, who is the knower of all things petite and fabulous, shared with us her amazing christmas decorations this year. Check them out! Oh Joy! also featured some of those amazing christmas bulbs on their website. Why do I love these so much?

S’mores are perfect any season, but especially during the winter months. Elizabeth Ann Designs blogged about these amazing s’more favors. It is all about packaging. It makes the mundane extraordinary! I also love this felt rosette wreath they posted too. I’m in love with ruffles this season!

The Party Dress created an amazing inspiration board for a Martini and Mistletoe soiree. Yes please!

These hand made snow flakes remind me of elementary school…. and Elf! Such a great way to decorate the house (and inexpensive)!

Snippet and Ink posted their newest board, Baby it’s Cold Outside. Makes me want to have a winter wedding!! I’m also loving the slight retro feeling of their other board, Ivory and Evergreen.

I’m totally inspired by this colorful room full of different textures on Apartment Therapy. It reminds me of the style of my first apartment in college. Expect an inspiration board on this soon!

A purple inspiration board by Creature Comforts is my favorite for this week. Love the lavender, muted colors and feel!

The Party Dress posted a great artichoke place card holder — with the top sliced off and the interior hollowed out to make room for a tealight. Love it! I love using food as candle and place card holders.

Junko Yoshioka’s studio tour on brooklyn bride was so inspiring! I love the light, styling, and pure white everywhere. It’s like a bridal dream world. Wouldn’t you love to try on dresses here?

Friday has now been reserved for things we love — tidbits from around the web that inspired me all week long.

The above centerpiece with pink peonies and hydrangea from a. hanna design via Once Wed. There is so much beauty in simplicity.

I love this idea of creating a living wall…. now I just need to hire someone to do it for me, since I have NO time!

Look at this gorgeous peach eyelet paper ribbon from a bohemian market. Isn’t it fantastic? There are so many uses for it I don’t even know where to begin!!

Really loving this blue and raspberry garden wedding by Corbin Gurkin Photography. Love all the vintage cans for vases, the hanging birdcages, the blueberries and raspberries as favors. Yum!

Okay, so the photograph above? I am loving this pink and navy wedding posted on The Brides Cafe Blog…. everything… the bridesmaids dresses… the flower girls cardigans… ALL of it… I LOVE IT. So much style!

I love this Mary Norton chiffon rosette purse featured on SevenEight…. it is super dreamy.

Real Simple‘s advice to accessorize with shimmer instead of a scarf this season… love their choices. I agree, a little shimmer on the collar bone makes such a difference!

Yesterday I totally fell in love with the real wedding of Kelly & Chris, featured on style me pretty. It is so visually STUNNING, no detail being forgotten. Makes me want to do a yellow mod wedding, stat!

Ritzy Bee posted a gorgeous, frilly, feminane pink baby shower that has to be mentioned… I love when so much care, consideration and design is put into a party!

These DIY paper vase packaging from Once Wed is so crafty, fun, and unique. I love it! Definitely on my DIY to-do list.

Loving these beautifully dress beds from the style files…. makes you want to rush out and redesign your boudoir! I could design an entire event around that first photograph!

I love chandeliers. LOVE. And I really love these gorgeous Marjorie Skouras Chandeliers from Apartment Therapy… We’ll be renting some fabulous chandeliers like these for an upcoming event, so be sure to check it out!
