Do You Twitter?

I’ll admit it — prior to signing up for my twitter account I thought “twittering” was a waste of time. What’s the point, I thought? Well, I still don’t know the full answer to that question. What I DO know is twitter keeps me fully locked into my family, friends, and colleagues whereabouts and general insane 140-words-or-less blabbering. Without twitter, how would I know about How to Kill Your Blog or that BridesDesign’s morning was off to a great start? Seriously though, twitter is a great tool to stay connected with people and network with other people in your industry. I’m a twitter convert! And now that I figured out how to use twitter on my Blackberry (no laughing, please), I am twittering EVERYWHERE!

We twitter. Do you?

  1. You are hilarious Candice, and totally correct about twitter. I too thought…what’s the big deal? But I’ve actually found it useful (as in it can help drive people to your blog or shop site, let’s say). Today I found it a time saver (DM’d a follower to let her know I couldn’t buy something off her site and she had it fixed in minutes!), and it allowed me to stay connected with all of my industry colleagues, like yourself. Imagine my surprise when I arrived hear and saw my tweet-stream in your post. Too fun! For the meantime…twitter rules. Although I think my husband is getting tired of hearing “so this person I’m following twittered about blah, blah, blah…” Honestly, I learn new things from twitter every day!

  2. I meant to say…”when I arrived HERE..” My internal editor was not going to let that one slip by :)

  3. Candice says:

I haven’t shared with my fiancee the wonders and mystique of twitter… he wouldn’t appreciate it! LOL.
