We are so excited to be featured in the newest issue of Southern New England Weddings: Destinations Magazine! For the design of this shoot I chose a “sherbet” inspired color story– soft colors in light pinks, mints, yellows, greens with a hint of gold. I love this color story for a spring-time wedding, but it can really translate into any season depending on where your wedding is! The Cottage House at Lord Thompson Manor made the perfect backdrop with it’s clean white palette against all our feminine and soft tones.

Some of my favorite details from the day are the large Geronimo Balloon with its gold and ivory tassels– so fun and playful! I adore the mini plates we used from BHLDN on our tablescape with varying floral designs in soft colors. Our florist created a blanket of spring-time flowers in soft colors down the center of the table, using tulips to give the arrangement height and dimension.

With our paper story, Nichole of Coral Pheasant used beautiful floral patterns mixed with gorgeous typography. I absolutely adored the scroll style menu cards! Miriam, owner of Taste by Spellbound, was not only our confectionary designer for the shoot but also one of our models! She creative a variety of pastel colored delicious eats such as French Macarons, Petit buttercream cakes, Madeline trees and Miniature truffle cakes.

Beth Chapman of The White Dress by the shore incorporated current fashion and vintage pieces into the styled looks for our models. From a mint green sequin top from TOVA’s Vintage Shop to big tulle skirts and antique gold jewels. Love! And this was all photographed by the colorful and talented Carla Ten Eyck (of course!).
