the branford house

The first part was their gorgeous Korean celebration that was only a small indication of the party to come–a small and intimate affair, but fun nonetheless. The next day, we started off in Groton, CT where Jenn and Nitin rose with the sun. Bless these two as they had such a long day ahead of them, yet they were nothing but smiles all day and all night! There was a quote from Jenn and Nitin’s ceremony: “Marriage unites two families, not only two individuals,” that couldn’t have been more true and perfect that day! A large group of guests gathered together for the baraat, which is the groom’s procession to the ceremony. All friends and both families lively danced, sang, and celebrated Nitin and the moments to come. It was hard not to stop and join in or watch the procession. As we could see from the pools of people surrounding us–the energy was completely contagious!
