My journey with Jubilee Events started back in early 2020, just before the world shut down due to COVID-19. To say it was a unique and crazy first year would be an understatement, but I wouldn’t have had it any other way! I have always loved and had a knack for event planning and design, so I couldn’t have been more thrilled to stumble upon an opportunity in the wedding industry. Meeting so many amazing and talented people has been one of my favorite parts of this wild ride…that, and of course the cakes!
Outside of weddings, I work full time as an IT consultant and run a local food and travel blog, InTheMixCT. Local businesses hold such a special place in my heart, especially those in New England, so I created a space to tell as many people about them as I can! My boyfriend and I are big foodies and coffee lovers, so our favorite thing to do is hop in the car early on a Saturday and drive around the state in search of the best spots. Only thing we’re missing is a little corgi in the back seat!

Favorite part of weddings...
If time, money, & distance were no object, I would spend a day off
Seeing the design flourish in the hours prior to the ceremony is one of my favorite parts of wedding days. Touching up every menu card, fluffing every linen, lighting every candle, it’s really the little things that make the end product so sweet and the vision board a reality. And of course when the couple gets to see it for the very first time is always such a treat!
As many of us I’m sure would, I would kill for an uninterrupted day (or days) off at a vineyard in Italy with my best girlfriends and an unlimited amount of pasta and sunshine. But if I’m being honest, I’d probably be just as happy with that here in Connecticut too!
MY GUILTY PLEASURE...
Hands down, reality television. From Real Housewives to Great British Bake Off to Dancing with the Stars. Can’t. Get. Enough! Pair it with some take out and red wine after a long work week and I’m one happy camper.
