Today Jessica and Diana are coordinating the very special wedding of Danielle and John in Old Saybrook, Connecticut at the Saybrook Point and Spa! I’ve been working with Danielle and her beautiful mom since the beginning of 2010 on a colorful, Parisian inspired wedding faire. I am so excited for Danielle and John and can’t wait to congratulate them personally! They are working with some fabu vendors like Carla Ten Eyck, BLUSH Floral Design, Jennie Fresa, The White Dress by the Shore, and Rob Alberti. Talk about a dream team!

Something really sweet happened recently: we were named one of The Knot’s Best of 2010 for wedding and event planners. Pretty awesome! Thank you to our brides who filled out their questionnaires and put us down as their favorite. We appreciate all the love and support!

I hope you are all enjoying your memorial weekend! The team and I have been busy getting ready for Jessica and Frank’s wedding! I’ve been working with them for almost a year now for their wedding on what has turned out to be a gorgeous day in Simsbury, Connecticut. These two are such a beautiful, fun and loving couple and we are SO excited for their wedding weekend to begin! Mazel Tov to you both!!!

We’re also looking forward to working with Johnny Arguedas, Datura: A Modern Garden, and Rob Alberti!

I am too excited to watch these two get married on an absolutely PERFECT day in may! Their guests are in for a real treat, as every detail has been considered for their beautiful Old State House ceremony and reception following at the Hartford Club. I have the privilege of  working with some of my very favorite people,  Amanda from Orchard Cove Photography, Elisabeth from BLUSH, and Jennie Fresa. I can’t wait to show you the details! Yesterday we kicked off our wedding season, officially, with the amazing surprise wedding of Nika and Jamar. They were married at the New Haven Lawn Club and disguised their wedding as an engagement party! I can’t wait to show you the amazing images of their photographers Erik Maziarz and Carla Ten Eyck. Until then, congratulations to Nika, Jamar and their families. It was beyond a pleasure to work with you on your wedding!!!!

I’ve been encouraged to develop a business blog to share thoughts, ideas, concerns, and musings on business. I’m really excited to launch my new website, CandiceCoppola.com. The motivation behind this new blog came from a colleague of mine, Christine Toner, who signs every post on her creative blog with… “Ideas take shape when they are shared.” I felt inspired by that, so much so that it’s my new motto that I’m trying to live by– in business and personally!
