Connecticut Weddings 2008: Ring Shots

I love how these photographers come up with fun, quirky, and unique ways to photograph some of Connecticut’s wedding rings. My favorite? Hands down, it would have to be Eric from Raw Photo Design’s rings on a LAMB chop bone.

Here are some more of my favorites, from the talented Carla Ten Eyck Photography, Robin Dini Photography, RAW Photo Design, RJT Pictures, Orchard Cove, and Justin & Mary Marantz.

  1. Robin Dini says:

LOVE seeing these. Yea, Mr. Raw likes shooting rings in the raw. He did a ring shot with me on half shell…ick!

  2. I’m loving this series of features you are doing – I am just catching up now as I’ve been away from the computer for a few days :)

The one on the white asparagus came about as the couple met over white asparagus at the grocery store :) The one with inspiration is from the memorial garden of the bride’s Mother.

    Have a great weekend!

  3. Pork Chop?? Come on…that’s so faux pas….it was a lamb chop!

I took a shot of the rings after we were done, that was even better…totally CAKED in chops.

  4. Candice says:

Excuse me Mr. Raw… LAMB chop bone. What was I thinking?! Now let me go edit the post for accuracy!! :)

And Amanda… I LOVE the story of the asparagus ring shot!

  5. I too love seeing these up here. I have to give Eric the award for most original ring shot, that is for sure. These are all awesome though, thank you Candice for featuring all of us!!

  6. Eric says:

I wish I could say that lamb chop was passed down from generation to generation or it was the bride’s great-grandmother’s famous lamb chop recipe or something like that…..but…I can’t. I found it at the buffet ;)

PS Robin – I TOTALLY forgot about that Oyster ring shot. I HAVE to post that now!
