Katie and Mike are planning a gorgeous, glamorous, down right spectacular wedding at The Branford House Mansion Groton, Connecticut next September. We are having SO much fun planning their wedding and the details are going to be amazing. Katie is a talented artist and loves fashion– a girl after my own heart! They recently had an engagement session with their photographers, BinaryFlips, and here is the dreamy final product.

{ um, hi– could katie be any prettier? }

congratulations katie and mike on your engagement! we can’t wait for the big day. xo!

I was lucky enough to have my very dear friend, Carla Ten Eyck, come by our studio to photograph our new space. We decided to take some fun new head shots, too, while she was here! Hair and makeup is courtesy of the every fabulous DD Nickel. That floral parasol? Well, of course it’s from Datura: A Modern Garden. Clothing by… well, do I really need to tell you? Cute little calling card? My girls at posh paperie, of course! xoxo!

Diana and I are preparing for the beautiful wedding of Jennifer and Clark this weekend! Folding napkins, printing and cutting custom menu cards, finishing touches on timelines. All the fun stuff! Jennifer has been such a delight and dream to work with– and I was just telling Diana how much I love getting emails from her! :)Â I wanted to share their recent engagement session with their amazing photographers, Robert and Kathleen. Here are a few gorgeous shots from the day! Congratulations guys– can’t wait for Sunday! xo

So, on October 10, 2010 we have two amazing weddings and one additional wedding we are sad we are unable to attend… They may not be our clients, but I consider them to be very good friends of mine, and I simply had to share their epically romantic, fun, and flirty engagement session. Paul and Krystal of Studiofoto are a talented (soon-to-be) husband and wife photography team in Connecticut. We love to refer our clients to them and think their work is absolutely amazing. They are having a gorgeous wedding that they’ve spent fooorrreeevvveeerrrr designing and I wish we could be there to see it! Knowing the two of them, it’s going to be a delightfully vintage affair with A LOT of meaningful (meaningful!) touches. Paul and Krystal– congratulations!!! Love to you x infinity!!
And now… their engagement pictures… again by the super silly and talented Carla Ten Eyck who has a knack for just capturing people’s personalities… instantly. If you know Paul and Krystal than you know these photographs 100% represent their LOVE! Especially since they are at the Golden Lamb Buttery… Paul’s favorite place on earth :)

I couldn’t wait to share the amazing engagement photos of our clients turned friends turned kindred spirits, Nichole and Tim. Nichole is one of those brides that every planner dreams about– not only because she’s super organized (thanks girl!) and shares a mutual love with me of urban decay (yay!) but she is all about doing FUN and unusual and just down right DOPE things on her wedding day… evidence is in this decrepitly delicious engagement session of her and Tim shot by the every amazing and down right TALENTED Carla Ten Eyck. We love Nichole and Tim’s wedding so much we even have a copy on display in our studio of their invitations that she designed… speaking of, you have to check out her business, Coral Pheasant, which is about to blow the roof off custom paper and business branding. Nichole’s one of those rare talents that you feel SO LUCKY to know!!
The location of their shoot is one I could NEVER get sick of… EVER!
I can’t wait for your wedding guys and can’t believe it is right around the corner. :) You can check even more urban decay on Carla’s blog.
XOXOX!

What do you get when you put together golfing, street bikes and Christian Louboutins? A raw photo design engagement session, of course. Check out our incredibly fun clients, Jameira and Greg. They’re getting married in early May of 2011 in Middletown– and we couldn’t be more excited!
Congratulations Jameira and Greg! See more amazing images over at raw’s blog. xo!

Melissa and Peter have waited a long time for November to come– and we can’t wait for their wedding in Greenwich, Connecticut! They recently gave Katie Slater a tour of their Brooklyn neighborhood during their engagement session. I don’t know about you, but I think Peter has the coolest hair I’ve ever seen.

Big thanks to Katie Slater for the stunning images! You can see more from this engagement shoot on her blog. Congratulations Melissa and Peter– we can’t wait for November!! xo

I love to get together with my friends and collaborate… on just about anything. So, in early June I got together with Carla and Mike of Carla Ten Eyck Photography, Jim Altieri, Datura: A Modern Garden, and DD Nickel to put together a fun, impromptu shoot in a super sleuth location. Check out the steamy engagement session below with an amazing video by Jim! Big props to DD and all her fabu accessories. Thanks to all– including Susannah, Liza and Max! xo!

We’re headed back up to Hartford for the beautiful wedding of Julie and Jason at Hartford City Hall and The Society Room. They couldn’t have chosen a more fabulous and fitting photographer, Robert Norman, for their vintage inspired wedding. Here are some beautiful photographs he took of them in D.C.– where they live.
Congratulations Julie & Jason!!
