With the warm air on Saturday I was reminded that spring is right around the corner. I’m nearly ready for blooming branches, car rides with the windows down, and those pesky birds chirping outside our bedroom window. Call it what you will.. lavender, plum, lilac, orchid, beet, eggplant, pansy, amethyst, aubergine, violet and wisteria… I just love the color purple.

Candice, I know exactly what this feels like. After experiencing bouts of near artic cold weather this winter, which is not the norm for the coastal region here in NC, I think I have been ready for spring since after Christmas. We’ve had teasers that Spring was around the corner. But, honey…it is here now!! The grass is turning back green, flowers are blooming, the birds singing in the morning is heavenly, we’ve had a few 80 degree days, and of course inspiration from nature for color palettes is all around.
