At Jubilee Events, we believe every celebration should be as meaningful as it is beautiful—so let’s bring your vision to life, one unforgettable detail at a time!

No matter what you do for work, there are always days where you feel like you ran a marathon in the Olympics. It’s funny, slightly true, but we all know what I mean! Well, last Fall we had the pleasure of working with a bride who is competing in this year’s Olympics for our beloved US of A! Sara and her groom, Mike, are the best team and you can find me in their fan section any day of the week!
I loved these two!! I know I always say that, but planning with them was so fun and rewarding! I always noticed that goofy smile on my face as I watched them explore each decision and develop what would be best for their day. They left you feeling inspirited and just ready to celebrate because they were! Plus, are they not two of the most beautiful people you’ve ever seen?
Now, if you’ve ever spent time in New England in the fall, then you have some understanding on what is so special about it! The warm glow of the sun wrapped up by the cool breeze once it sets. The warm colors found in Mother Nature, in food, and in a cozy pashmina. Plus, fall weddings are my favorite!
Sara and Mike’s design was rich with the colors of fall. Champagne and marsala with hints of a more playful blush dressed their tables and florals and brought such a sophistication to the Eolia Mansion. Earthy garlands from Just For You Floral Design spilled over the sides of their dinner tables that were speckled with candlelight for a romantic touch. And nothing beats that perfectly natural garden at the house! A Thyme to Cook was on site with the freshest, most delectable menu, complete with a hot rocks station. Don’t know what is? Well, you’ll want to! Check out some of our fav photos from Ms. Carla Ten Eyck and a special video from our friends at Vantage Point Films!
Sara and Mike: we miss you two so very much and we hope your days are filled with fun, adventure, excitement, and all the happiness in the world! Sara, we are rooting for you and know you will fiercely demolish any challenge in the Olympics! Good luck! XO

This pretty diddy here embodied some of my favorite things ever! Colorful whimsy, polka dots, and most especially Katy and Jerimiah!! These two were so sweetly in love and they brought out a smile in everyone they came into contact with. Look at Katy’s expression in some of these photos – don’t you find yourself giggling along?
Summer is all about those bright hues, and we wanted to infuse as much color in our details as we could get our hands on. We added a dash of polka dots because, well, who doesn’t love polka dots, right? Her swiss dot Hayley Paige gown fit perfectly with our story and I will admit I was slightly obsessed. It had all of the playful elegance that matched this girl’s personality!
Katy and Jerimiah: thank you for allowing us to be a part of such a happy day! We hope your days are filled with endless dress twirling, plaid bowties, and the genuine love we felt so privileged to witness! XO

Here at Jubilee Events, we love all things wedding! Your wedding weekend is a passion project for all and it is more than just the big day. You have all of your closest family and friends excited to celebrate and many times you start the party with your rehearsal dinner! This is the perfect place to bring in more inspiration from your relationship or feature more casual fare.
Our couple wanted a Texas inspired Southern BBQ for their rehearsal, an aesthetic that varied from their modern, organic wedding design. When planning your rehearsal, we recommend talking with your florist about bringing in some arrangements for your tables. Who doesn’t love fresh bursts of flowers? We opted for a blue checkered linen, casual and comfortable, which provided the perfect balance for the pop of sunflowers. Hand sewn handkerchiefs donned as napkins as they sat amidst our candlelit picnic tables. Coupled with the wide collection of cowboy boots and the most savory pulled pork drenched in a homemade barbecue sauce you ever did taste, we were as good as the South!
You might also like to speak with your photographer about coming in for some time to capture the evening so you can remember the look of your guests and the toasts of the evening!
Most of all, enjoy! You’re getting ready for a big day and what better way to dive into the weekend!

Here at Jubilee Events we strive to create weddings that are stylish, creative, and most of all, fun. We get giddy when couples ask us to help them infuse fun details into their wedding. What’s more, we love a couple who can really let go and enjoy their big day. All of this makes for a truly enjoyable experience for the bride and groom and their guests.
Kristina and PJ were no exception to this rule. In fact, I don’t think there as one moment when their faces were not covered with an ear-to-ear grin. They had a beautiful day in early September, and a large group of friends, loved ones and family in attendance to witness the union of their love. The Wadsworth Mansion, with its spectacular lawn and massive hydrangea blooms, was the scene for their ceremony. The view from the back patio is so breath taking, it may just be my favorite in the state. Just a word of caution: The images by Maggie Conley capture it so well that you might find yourself trying to jump in!
Kristina opted for a romantic color story of blush, cream and mint green with navy accents. Our favorites were the navy sequined table runner along the head table and PJ’s perfectly blue tuxedo. Lush and romantic arrangements by Jakki Iris helped complete the look, while killer beats by DJ Eko turned the reception into a non-stop dance party!
Thank you so much, Kristina and PJ for welcoming us into your lives during such an exciting time and giving us the honor to help you create such a perfect day!

There is very little I can say about this wedding that does not come across in these images from Ashley Caroline. Each one is so chalk full of love and happy emotions they are practically bursting! I knew that Christina and Sean would be a great couple to work with when we first connected over the phone almost a year before their August wedding. They were living in Tennessee where Sean was stationed in the Army. They were so happy to share details on how they planned to say their vows at the Florence Griswold Museum, in front of the same river Sean proposed and only steps away from Christina’s childhood home.
They wanted an intimate wedding that emphasized the natural beauty of the land. Their ceremony site played such an important role in their history and they wanted that to shine through. Their vision was brought to life through gorgeous, natural-looking florals in beautiful copper containers, and subtle touches of sky blue among a romantic palette of blush and ivory. Perhaps my favorite details of the entire day was a vintage row boat that a friend of the museum lent the couple, and adorned with romantic garlands and greenery by Jakkelyn Iris.

Here at Jubilee Events, we love all things wedding and events! Thank goodness we do what we do! Trust us, every spool of ribbon, delicate peony, luxurious Dupionique linen, romantically lit chandelier, and each spec of glitter on our fingers–and sometimes face–thrills us. The best part about each detail is what that means to our couple and their story. The way they are infused into their wedding day and how it is all brought to life.
When I met Rachel and Matthew, they were unsure as to which direction their wedding would process in, but shortly after we started, they said, “Why not get married on our favorite holiday?!” which was, of course, Halloween! Let me tell you how excited I was to collaborate on their wedding when I heard this! It was adventurous and most importantly, it was them!! The scene was set and all we had to do was have fun.
We took inspiration from an old haunted house–one that, in it’s prime, hosted lavish parties every weekend. It had to in order to host this amazing group! There is something truly beautiful in the story held in a forgotten home. Our tables were dressed in a vintage lace and topped with a collection of ghoulish hands, bloodied candles, decayed flowers, and insects crawling all over. Our girl Jane from Just For You Floral Design helped bring this to life…if you will.
The best part: our groom surprised his beautiful wife with the Sanderson Sisters from Hocus Pocus. They put on an incredible performance to kick off dancing for the night! Their love for this holiday was in no short supply and it was a huge treat for us to design such an extraordinarily unique wedding.
A big thank you to Robert and Kathleen for capturing all of this extraordinary fun and to Epic Film Makers for allowing us to relive it!
Rachel and Matthew–a very happy first anniversary and a very Happy Halloween to you both (and Grant!!)! We wish you years and years of fun and imagination and all the love in the world that we saw present on your night! Thank you for giving us the gift to take part in such an exceptional day. XO!

What do you love the most about the fall? The turning leaves? The hearty meals? Spending lazy afternoons at the vineyard? Well this wedding has all of the above, plus a vintage VW Photobus!
Stephanie and I met initially during our senior year of college, while we were both interns at Modern Bride Magazine in New York City. I could not have been more honored and excited to receive a call from her several years later looking for help with her wedding plans.
Not only was Priam Vineyards the most picturesque spot for a fall wedding. But the incredible team of vendors nailed Stephanie’s vision for the day—from the dreamy twinkle lights and lanterns by Andrew Rubenoff Designs to the jaw dropping floral arrangements in shades of soft pink, plum and coral by Bill Cusano. Mix in a delicious spread from Riverhouse Catering and you’ve got yourself a party!
Thank you Stephanie and Rico for including me in your wedding day!

This wedding…! Tess, Jon, and their families are some of the best people you will ever meet! Their personalities were so wonderfully infectious, warm, and a pleasure to be around. They were the best people to work with and their guests mirrored their awesomeness. They lined up some of the best vendors across New England and, boy, did this become a night that will always be remembered!
From the moment Tess and Jon got engaged, they knew they wanted an outdoor wedding, which took place on a day full of sunshine and crisp pre-autumn air. Inspired by Tess’s signature earthy tones, the tables were lined with tall and plush blooms in natural greens, burlap, and plum purple spilling over candelabras and pouring out of iron lanterns from Blush Floral Designs. The rustic, wooden farm tables were dressed in romantic candlelight with the best, freshest fare from our favorites over at A Thyme to Cook. Many months later and guests are still raving about every detail of the day!
One of our favorite memories of the day was early on in the evening when we all witnessed the most beautiful sunset we have ever seen! The skies turned pink and orange and for just a brief moment, everyone took a minute to pause and take it all in. The night ended with a sparkler send off and, as Tess reminisces, they just make you feel like a kid again, and they also make for a really dreamy, almost fairytale-like moment running through them as husband and wife among all of their loved ones.
Tess and Jon, to you and your families, thank you for giving us the utmost pleasure of being a part of such a spectacular and memorable wedding and, more importantly, celebrating with an amazing group of people! We wish you all the best and a lifetime of happiness and beautiful sunsets. XO!

Have you ever looked through a post online, a collection of photos, a story and caught yourself grinning from ear to ear? Giddily smiling because you are so swept up in the wonderful memory of an event? That’s how I feel looking at all of these images from Rachel and Sebastian’s dreamy October wedding on the shoreline in Old Saybrook. How can you not love looking at this beautiful couple?!
Working with them and their family was a dream! There was so much love, bliss, and joy surrounding them throughout the entire planning process and it surrounded all of their friends and family on the wedding day. We couldn’t have imagined a sweeter day if we had tried!
From their first look to the last dance, each loving moment was captured by the incredible Bryce Covey. Rachel wanted lots of blush with touches of ivory, gold, and elegance. Sebastian wanted everything Rachel wanted–he couldn’t stop telling us how excited he was to be marrying his best friend! Our tables were embraced in blush pink and adorned with a medley of tall and petite blooms in ivory, green, and touches of pink from the always fabulous Elisabeth at Blush Floral Design. Even the chairs were dripping in romantic ruffles down to the floor.
After dinner, guests filled the dance floor, where our girl, DJ Eko kept guests twirling and celebrating until the end of the night!
It was truly a pleasure to be a part of Rachel and Sebastian’s wedding, and we cannot thank you all enough for the wonderful memories from such a happy day! We wish you nothing but many more happy, loving celebrations for all the years to come!
